Nikka : 90 years of Nikka

Masataka Taketsuru founded Nikka in Yoichi on the island of Hokkaido in 1934. Guest speaker Didier lived in Japan for a long time and is one of the leading Nikka connoisseurs in Europe. He will guide you through the world of Taketsuru and its distilleries using the entire Discovery Range that preceded -over the past 3 years- the launch of Nikka 9 Decades, the icing on the cake of this master class.
‘Nikka Nine Decades’, features whiskies from nine decades, from the 1940s to 2020s, distilled at Nikka's 6 distilleries. Over 50 batches of whisky, including the oldest reserve malt whiskies from Yoichi and Miyagikyo, and new grain whiskies from Moji and Satsumatsukasa, have been selected to represent Nikka's heritage and future, this special blend brings them together to perfection.
